Sorry I spent so much time away from the blog everyone!
I have been doing a lot of new things including getting a new computer system! woot!
However that’s besides the point. You are here to [tag]make some gold[/tag]!
So here’s some more tips.
I’m still playing on Mal’Ganis, but I haven’t played much. Usually I just log in, scan the auction house and then check for a few auctions and then log back out.
I have been so busy answering email questions and helping other players out in the game that it’s been over whelming!
As the title says, we are here to talk about gems. I am still on a fairly short budget (not short for me and my characters level.. but I want to be a lot higher)..
The best way to play the market is to create your own price.
If you are the only person selling a product then you can name your price because you have the “rare goods”
Gems are really hot right now so I decided to scan for the lower level gems.
Malachite had about 4-5 pages of people listing them for 2-3 silver.
Shadowgem I had a couple steals picking them up for 8-25s and re-listing them for 90ish silver.
But where I made the huge money at is Tigerseye!
There was about 1.5 pages of auctions. Most of the players were listing these for 5-10s a piece. I bought every single one out, and re-listed just 5 of them for 55 silver a piece.
It hit BIG. Sold all 5. Just selling one of them gave me most of my money back.
I still have about 25 in my inventory that I will slowly sell.
The thing about the auction house is that it takes a little bit of patience. But there’s no rush at all! The more gold you get, the more sweeps you can make through the auction house to invest in different items. You just have to list them at the right times!
Go check out ALL of your low level items, including enchanting supplies, cloth, gems, gear, herbs, ore just take a look! There’s always someone listing things for prices that are crazy steals because lower level players think that low level items are “cheap”.
Go show them otherwise and make your profit!

This new server has given me such a great idea.
I have told you a few times that the weak area on this servers auction house is the low level items.
I simply buy out all the [tag]low level[/tag] items with good stats (rarely any spirit gear, and gear according to armor type) and re-list them for a huge profit.
It gave me the idea to do what I call “Micro Grinding”.
[tag]Micro Grinding[/tag] is the idea of farming low level items.
There is a spot in Westfall, with defias trappers and looters. It’s right by a big windmill near the ridge of the north eastern part of Westfall. The coords are (31,32).
This place has been bugged since day one. The mobs have a very quick re-spawn rate. [tag]Blizzard[/tag] hasn’t fixed it which leads me to believe they never will.
With that in mind this is a great place to farm linen. Now like a retard.. I would always farm the linen, vendor everything else and use the linen I farmed or [tag]AH[/tag] it like I planned on doing.
It finally all clicked together when I was heavily focused on buying and re-listing low level auctions.
“Why not just farm them, and list them for higher profits..”
Micro Grinding is incredibly easy. To be dead honest with you it doesn’t surprise me. EVERYTHING in making gold for WoW is easy.
Killing low level mobs is very quick and very simple. You are grinding them just for the greens and cloth so you want to farm mobs that are humanoids so you can get both.
When you are grinding these mobs you want to also remember that you have professions. Mining/Herbalism should be utilized.
Make sure when you sell these greens and cloth that you are getting a good price for them.
If you are wasting your time [tag]grinding[/tag] small items for small costs then it’s going to get you know where.
As you get into higher levels and you can one shot most of these mobs or even AOE grind these mobs you will make a killing. At level 25 I was making a good amount of gold. Think about level 60+. You can make 100g+ by farming low level mobs.
Go out and try it!

It’s going on my first week and the action is getting more intense!
Tuesday brought server maintence that I wasn’t ready for. Luckily I was logged in at the right time. I had about 16g on my [tag]character[/tag] and I got the dreaded error of the server being shut down.
I made a swift jolt towards the [tag]auction house[/tag]. If you didn’t know it’s a great idea to place bids before server maintence because as time will continue to expire through the maintence.
On top of that most players don’t immediately check the [tag]AH[/tag] when they log back in! So this gives us double opportunities to win auctions at cheap prices.
I said it before that this server was extremely weak with low level items. Many people are listing auctions for items between level 8-17 for prices that are amazing. I actually bought out 7-8 auctions at 15-20 silver. I placed around 45-50 bids.
Placing bids on the AH is very important in our strategy. As time continues on people will begin understanding the auction house and the profits we make will go down. A huge mistake we can still hit on is low bid prices.
The common mistake I’m seeing on this server is auctions that have 20s bids and 1g buyout.
They got the right idea by placing auctions for higher prices at low levels! But they forgot one giant step to raising the bid price also.
I am going to update our gold count tommorow. I have a lot of money invested into the auction house and a lot of pending auctions.
Kinjal is going to hit 26 today. I haven’t payed much attention to him. He is going to play a very important part in maknig gold here very soon.
I’m developing a new [tag]farming strategy[/tag] that I don’t want to release yet! I am going to test it with Kinjal first to see exactly how much gold per hour I can squeeze out with it. Make sure you check in the next few days to see the idea’s behind it!

It has been a huge success the last 2 days.
I searched through the AH for quite a time picking places for good steals.
I must say that this server has a huge activity when it comes to bidding. I usually place my bids at certain points during the day where I feel comfortable enough to say I will win the auction. Unfortunately a lot of the auctions were outbid!
That doesn’t matter though because I still won a good portion of auctions and that means I’m going to make a huge profit.
As I told you before, on this server I have a huge opportunity to capitalize on low level items.
That’s exactly what I did.
I had to be extremely careful though because my of my small balance. I tried to pick and choose steals.
Here we’re all of my bids:

I said previously most of the auctions came back failing because of outbids. I still had enough auctions to product 2 pages of listings which isn’t bad for the amount of gold I had.
Here are my listings:

You can see how active this server is when it comes to Auctions:

As you can see it wasn’t long after I created the auctions that I already had some selling!
My gold count is growing. It’s not as quick as it really would be if I was playing the server full time. I’m slowing it down so you can see exactly my process of building gold up on the server.
That has been my activity for the last 2 days. I wont pick up until tomorrow when I find out if the auctions were highly successful or if any of them failed.
I ended with 13g gold count:

I hope you are enjoying this step-by-step [tag]WoW Gold Guide[/tag].
More video’s coming soon as Kinjal steps into higher levels!

Today was a very short day for my character.
I only hit level 20, and I did some selling on my [tag]mule character[/tag].
I upgraded the bag’s on Kinjal so he could have more space.
I was very busy today so I wasn’t able to play as much. However! I did get some good scanning in so by tomorrow I should be ready to start making some purchases.
From Kinjal’s leveling I’ve been selling copper, linen and light leather on the auction house.
It has been working pretty good and bringing me in some small amounts of gold here and there.
Right now Poor is at 5g which is a perfect amount to start on the auction house.
Before you know it that 5g will turn into mounds of gold! I have noticed that this server has A LOT of trade goods auctions. Most of the market is full with leather.
I think most of my auctions are going to be from re-listing low-level [tag]auctions[/tag]. I’ve seen some weakly priced items in that category.
Tomorrow I will continue my quest for hundreds of [tag]WoW gold[/tag]! Today was just a busy day. By the end of the day tomorrow I will show you the progress of my mules [tag]gold count[/tag] (Thats what we are studying).

I am moving right along at a very quick pace! One thing I wanted to note was that this server has a surprisingly large amount of [tag]auctions[/tag] listed.
I’ve been scanning 3 times a day.
Kinjal is going to hit 19 tonight.
The only transaction I made today was sending 50s to my mule. I did this to fund for bags, and eventually start picking up some enchanting items.
I picked up two [tag]professions[/tag] for Kinjal. I was going to go Mining/Herbalism. I decided not too - I’m trying something new.
I usually go Herbalism/Skinning, because herbalism picks up piles of gold. (Herb’s create consumables meaning they are in higher demand.)
However I decided to try Mining/Skinning. I did this because I am noticing a lot more people using [tag]jewelcrafting[/tag] as a big money profession. Not only that but you still have [tag]blacksmiths[/tag] to send my ore to. I think it will work out pretty successfully.
As I continue to pick up ore, i’m not converting it to bars. I’m selling it AS ore. This is simply because I want JewelCrafter’s to prospect it and ALSO the blacksmiths can still buy it and convert it to bars.
For now that’s about all the action that we are seeing. This weekend should begin the raid on [tag]Auction House[/tag] items, you will begin to see my strategy unfold!
Make you bookmark this page, or grab an RSS feed from the selection to the right. You don’t want to miss out on updates!
